United We Stand
The recent Pulwama terror attack has shook the entire
nation. With more than 40 brave hearts dying and many more getting injured,
this attack is the largest attack in Jammu and Kashmir in the last few decades.
This massive attack has made even the non-violent supporters question whether
they are being too liberal. Whatever be the reason, the nation has lost too
many brave souls and the whole country is in a mourning state right now.
Just think if this has such a devastating effect on us, what
will be the condition of the relatives of those soldiers. We cannot be physically
present with them but we can send them thoughts for a speedy recovery and that’s
the most important thing to do right now. Candle marches are a way to show that
that whatever happened, it was not good. It is a symbol to show respect to the
victims. Do it with a sincere effort and not to update stories on social media
or just for the sake of it. Everybody is in pain right now and there is no need
to prove nationalism to anyone. As citizens, we cannot do anything to fight
against them. We can only pray for the victims and their families or help them
by making donations. Do it with the way, you are comfortable with.
I don’t like blaming anyone and this is not the case where
you can blame a single identity. The only thing which comes out of this
situation is the rise of terrorism. For me, and I think most of you will agree
with me on this, that terrorism do not belong to any country or religion. The
only thing that we know about it is that it should be eradicated as soon as
possible. Or else no one knows how many more people will be sacrificed.
Coming to the Pulwama attack place, Jammu and Kashmir. I remember
visiting Srinagar in 2009 and I have to admit, this is the most beautiful place
in India which I have visited. The scenic beauty, the cleanliness, the crafts
and the people were so great. It’s just heart breaking to see the state getting
a victim every time now and then. Kudos to the people who live there. Even
after so many incidents they still live there, work there and take care of their
area.
One thing that does comes out of this tragedy is that it has made India united. History has proven that whenever we unite no force can take us down. It was that unity that made the mighty British move out from here. At that time, we had nothing and now we are one of the strongest nations in the world. We will not surrender to any act of violence. Believe in the army, condolence to the jawans and their families.
when we try to over protect anyone then knowingly or unknowingly we curbing their freedom . Any individual first learn from the environment where he is living . A Seed of Hate never create a tree of love..
ReplyDeleteThat's a line I can use for my future posts😄You are right, peace can only be achieved by talks and not by numerous retaliation.
